It supports your own model provider of choice, including Claude, Codex, Pi, or an API key, and replies back in the same thread. openTag is built for local-first workflows, shared team context, and flexible automation across tools like GitHub, Notion, Calendar, Linear, Jira, Figma, and Google Drive. It uses Context Tree, a portable file-based, git-backed memory layer hosted in your GitHub organization, so team memory stays under your control. The product is Apache 2.0 open source, self-hostable with Docker, and free to use; you only pay your own provider costs.
